Rashford was awarded the MBE Medal of the British Royal Family for his dedication to charity. England coach Southgate said that the team is proud of him and gave him applause during training.
Southgate said: "First of all, this is a very remarkable achievement. It is a great thing for him and his family to be recognized, but he didn't start doing these things just to be recognized."
"He started to do these things because he had been affected, and he cared about these things with enthusiasm, and it was incredible that he could do something so meaningful at his age."
"We are all proud of him. This morning, we gave him special applause because our team is very close."
He added: “We have witnessed his growth, and I said he was growing up. He was actually 22 years old. So you can only marvel at his achievements and the way he brings to children who will understand or even not understand these things. But they will be very grateful to him in the future."
